Groom Creek • 1110 Friendly Pines Rd Prescott, AZ 86303. Organized by Groom Creek Firefighter’s Association
This race is located in the Ponderosa Pine forest of Groom Creek, 5 miles South of Prescott.
Both the 10 mile and 20 mile races start and finish at Groom Creek Fire District Station 41. Both races consist of the 10 mile north loop, with the 20 milers then heading south for another completely different 10 mile south loop.
Both loops are a mixture of single track trails and two track forest service roads. There is a small paved section at the beginning winding through the community.
Note that the 10 and 20 mile distances are approximate. Mileage may vary just a bit.
